Two days after I turned 20, I bought my first legit camera, and I moved to Paris. Those two events changed the course of my life forever. Moving to Paris and traveling through Europe opened my eyes to this big, beautiful globe we live on, and looking through that first lens opened my eyes to the world’s varied colors and flavors. Living in Paris fed my passion for storytelling, fashion, art, culture, and the good life.  My camera has always connected me with people from across the globe, because people are the same wherever you go–full of light, laughter, love, and beautiful colors and traditions.

After Paris, I moved to New York City to get a Masters in the Arts from my dream school: New York University.  I combined my vision of people and my understanding of composition of art to create my very own brand of photography. To me, telling people’s stories, no matter how big or small, is the happiest part of my life. After one beautiful shoot on a rooftop in Harlem, I decided that photography would not only be my passion, but it would be my work too. Life is too short to do anything other than what you feel called to do. I am passionate about people’s stories.  Our stories are our lives. They are fleeting. They are precious. They are worthy of being documented.

When I’m not clicking a photo you can often find me in old bookstores in Paris where I still spend a lot of my time. I also frequent all the latest Broadway shows and watch the TONY awards avidly.  I have a home base in New York City for most of the time, and spend the other part at my little cottage in the lovely mountains of Park City, Utah –and I’m always home for the Sundance Film Festival to do interviews and snap pictures.

You’ll also find me  jetting off around the globe to photograph destination weddings. These past years have taken me often to Paris, England, Ireland, Iceland, Singapore, Honduras, Hawaii, San Francisco, Park City, Thailand, Germany, Croatia, Italy and more!
